Hard Working Farmer wants a Wife
Coaching in the News
His mates call him a SNAF, a "Sensitive New Age Farmer", and man-on-the-land Rob Hodges, of Mt Gambier, is hoping that just might land him a wife.
The 42-year-old is the only SA bachelor in the upcoming Nine series of Farmer Wants a Wife.
"I have been working with a life coach to help me find a life partner and identify what has been holding me back from this," Rob (pictured) says. "I have discovered lots of things I didn't know about myself that I would also bring to a new relationship."
Rob rates his good traits as generous, motivated, athletic, hard working and committed.
After going to school in Adelaide and working as a sales rep, Rob headed back to the family farm in 1993. Since then he's had no luck finding that special lady but now that might all change. And he knows what he's looking for: "I have city tastes," he says.
"I am a city boy come to the country. My ideal partner is well groomed and enjoys the finer things but is prepared to roll up her sleeves and get the job done when needed. No princesses please. My partner will also be prepared to enjoy the challenges of sharing each others' goals."
